<image:caption>Who is Ainslie Counseling and Consulting? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist, currently working toward a Ph.D. in Art Therapy Psychology. I am experienced in working with artists, BIPOC and members of the LGBTQ community. I approach therapy from the lens of critical consciousness, intersectionality and anti-oppressive knowledge. It is my goal as a therapist to go beyond the concepts of multiculturalism and decolonize our beliefs about pathology and healing. Work with me ⟶</image:caption>

<image:title>Individual Therapy - I approach therapy from the lens of critical consciousness, intersectionality, anti-oppressive knowledge and intuitive ways of knowing. In sessions, I use critical inquiry and creative exploration to aid in healing, expression, stress relief and coping, identifying mental blocks, and building self-identity. I believe creative intuition can help us convey the truth of our experiences in a completely new and transformative way. Art therapy is an integrative practice that engages different areas of the brain. It teaches us to witness rather than make judgments, and when we put aside ideas of what art should look like, we can bypass our tendencies to analyze. We all have a creative voice, and with that voice, we can experience empowering self-discovery and improve our ability to make conscious choices for growth and healing.</image:title>

<image:caption>Consultation involves addressing mental health within your business. The goal is to help you identify stigmas, biases and assumptions within your policies, curriculum, workplace culture, etc. Once we identify these we will collaboratively create content that clearly defines resources and mental health policies in order to create space for employees to talk about mental health and ultimately seek support.</image:caption>
